Good afternoon and welcome !

I hope you had a fun filled musical weekend. In a bit of a different path for today, we have some light-hearted musical posts. I figured that music was more appropriate for a Monday, rather than some of the more intellectual jargon I have been branding into your brains this week (well at least I hope that some of you have thought or have digested some of this analytical non-sense). I'm thinking now that it's Monday here in the USA, at least, and that we may need some clarity and relaxation after the weekend.

Today from the deepest of my journalistic imagination I present to you the music and arrangement of Malmo, Sweden's - LUGNET -

Lugnet focuses on edits of some of the most obscure lost tracks known on this side of the universe as well as new avant-guarde music from artists local to his native, Sweden. His approach is to bring forward a more progressive and psychedelic concept in contemporary dance music to today's more obvious, (I would say a hum-drum and mechanical type of sound, I would concure that his approach is a taste, more of a diplomatic nature.) I am loving this new sound ! It seems there are so many great artists with a fresh new musical approach emerging from the Swedish underground, VERY INTERESTING, to say the very least ! In consideration of what most of today's club going population would consider dance music, the new collective of this tightly woven Swedish niche, is defiantly "Stirring the pot", if you will...

Here are some samples that I have acquired from Lugnet over the last couple of months, for the latest releases please visit Lugnet on Myspace
